The Goddess of Love draws you into her magnetic field and shifts your perspective on life. She opens you to more love by expanding your definition of love. She awakens you to “real” love: the kind that doesn’t hurt, the kind that takes you to new worlds that blow your mind.
The Goddess of Love is comfortable in her own skin, seeing every part of her as perfect as she is. She confidently embodies Beauty, Harmony, Unconditional Love, Presence, Intimacy, Sensuality, Generosity, Gratitude, and so much more.
She is about heart opening, spirit liberating, and somatic bliss. As you sensually and mindfully explore your world from the outside in and from the inside out, you are initiated into a unique mystery, which can only be entered with an open heart. With a little practice, you will love how freeing this can be.
The Goddess of Love also reminds us that there is a part of us that is fully developed and desires a fruitful harvest.
The question to ponder is, “What in me is ripe for the picking?”
Yes, that.
Her body holds Divine Wisdom, which takes you deeply into your senses, inviting you to see, hear, feel, taste, smell, and sense every aspect of your life.
One of my favorite ways to evoke the Goddess of Love is to anoint my body with sacred oils.
- Then, put a drop or two in your hands, rub them together, and breathe in deeply several times. Really take in the aroma, letting it move you physically and emotionally. Place your hands over your heart and “feel” the oil.
- Now, place a few more drops in your hand. Using the fingertips of your opposite hand, with intention, place the oil on your belly, chest, throat, forehead, back of neck or spine, behind your ears, or on your wrists…anywhere you feel called to anoint your body.
Embody the blessing you have just offered yourself. It’s fun to anoint a partner’s body too!
Words of Wisdom…Don’t use the oils in “sensitive” areas, if you know what I mean. It seems like such a good idea, but it’s not. (Trust me on this one.)
