The Learning Curve
Wow it has been a wild ride learning about how to launch a book. In January of 2110 I began writing “Cultivating Radiance” and after 10 months of interviews, editing, and more editing, I had a book that was ready to print. I was so excited! It was a lot of hard work, especially for a dyslexic, to write a book, and I was thrilled to tell my friends the book was done.
My friend and mentor, Dan Millman, author of “Way of the Peaceful Warrior” and most recently, “The Four Purposes of Life”, was so supportive and encouraging. His exact words were, “CONGRATULATIONS! Now comes the self-publisher’s learning curve… ;-)”
Apparently, writing a book is only about 5% of the work. The real challenge is to get it into people’s hands. And man, is it a learning curve! It’s been wonderful and exciting, and has grown me and stretched me into places I never thought I would go.
Those days when I was so tired and overwhelmed, I just had to remember that I ASKED FOR ALL OF THIS, and then even the most challenging parts became a joy to do.
Some days it is harder than others to appreciate that I create my own reality and I am 100% responsible for my success and happiness. But, the days I can remember this, my life is in the flow and going exactly where it needs to go.

Light Up Your Holidays by Creating Ease and Delight
1. Clear your mind each day and let your environment reflect what is going on inside you.
2. Let go, let go, let go of anything that triggers your ego and drains your radiance.
3. Prioritize spending time with the important PEOPLE and taking the important actions. Let the rest go, or ask for help.
4. Schedule in “Me Time” and do something that makes you feel more alive everyday.
5. Look for the Beauty in everyone and everything…there is so much out there.
“The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years.” ~Audrey Hepburn
